Build up to final design

Once we analysed the various designs we realised that our designs were getting to complicated and we were missing the simplicity of the requirements in the brief. Thus we decided to focus on a gantry crane and designed a crane accordingly.

Here we analysed the gantry crane and how to change it. We also discussed the kind of beam that we would use.

Here we came to our Final design idea. We decided to keep the design of the crane as simple as possible. We also decided to use an I-Beam.
